Forget it, Jake, It's not "Chinatown". This disappointing sequel is everything its predecessor wasn't: dull,convoluted, and forgettable. A major plot twist regarding a significant character's identity can easily be figured out long before its eventual revelation.
Not awful, but not necessary either.
