Review of The Two Faces of January (2014) by Joel A — 23 Oct 2014
A slick thriller set in Athens Greece in the early 1960's ...the story of a rich couple holidaying & bumping into a charismatic & charming Tour Guide & then the story takes another direction.
The beautiful scenery of Athens is photographed extremely well & the look of the film is good but the story is ultimately a lot loss weaker than you intend it to be.
It's a good solid thriller/drama but I feel it fails to be great...Oscar Hayes (from Inside Llewyn Davis) the Tour Guide is by far the best of three in performances.
