Review of The Two Faces of January (2014) by Dean K — 23 Nov 2014
Really? This high a rating? It was not that good. It was realistic, which was good and had its "hitchcockian moments" but definitely did not have the constant tension and pull of the master. It lacked a lot in its imagination and barely made up with the heart it claimed to have.
The characters also weren't that much complex. I will give in that they were more than a standard black and white and oh, I'm cool so I have a shade of grey in my character, thrillers. All in all, not satisfying but no regrets.
