Review of The Twilight Saga: New Moon (2009) by Ben L — 14 Sep 2012
Twilight: New Moon is the sequel to the horrendous, yet somehow popular vampire romance film, Twilight. However, no matter how bad the original film is, this one is worse. Twilight: New Moon is not only deviously slow, it has no fun elements to it, is poorly directed, and features some of the laziest writing I have ever seen in any film.
The film suffers from essentially the same problems as the last film, it takes itself to seriously, Edward Cullen is a prick, and there is absolutely no sense of fun in it. Frankly, I blame this movie's failure on the writing and directing, not the actors.
Although Robert Pattinson is a bad actor, I do feel that many of the other actors do make attempt to do good considering what they are given to work with. Even though they may not do a good job, the actors still try (with the exception of Robert Pattinson, who I have concluded is the ugliest person ever born).
I just don't understand why so many people are obsessed with Twilight. Overall, Twilight: New Moon is boring, stupid, and only just earns 1 star do the moments in the film that are so bad, they are actually funny.
While Twilight: New Moon isn't the worst film I've ever seen, it is definitely high up on the list. 1 out of 5 stars.
