Review of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (2010) by Angelina C — 10 Oct 2012
Each new film from the saga seemed to be better than the last. Eclipse has a darker and edgier feel to it, thanks to David Slade who also helmed 30 days of night. The climatic battle scene between the newborn vampires and the Cullen/werewolves was violent and so riveting but it took forever to get there.
There was an immense amount of action involved. I suppose after all that painfully slow game of love triangle between vampire, human and werewolf that dominated the 3/4 of the reel, I was getting a tad bored in my seat.
I am ecstatic that Bryce Dallas Howard does not disappoint. She is fiercesome as Victoria. I am looking forward to the upcoming 2 part finale, Breaking Dawn.
