Review of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 (2011) by Dima R — 12 Aug 2012
I knew this one would be worse--this segment of the book was kind of tedious written, too. It's the wedding, it's the honeymoon, it's what ensues. You'll love it if you see stars in your eyes when picturing a fairytale wedding. You'll love it if you've just wanted to see Edward and Bella get it on already. You'll love it if you like seeing Bella writhing in pain.
The best part by far is the reception speeches they throw in there. Hilarious stuff, and made a nice break from, well, everything else.
And that "everything else" basically boils down to Edward's tortured emo-isms, and Jacob's dumb-headed flip-flopping. At lest the movie is technically better than the trainwreck that was the first Twilight movie.
Still, they ended the movie at the perfect point. With all, uh, THIS out of the way, the last movie should be all action and awesome.
