Breaking Dawn, before being turned into a movie, was already very messed up and poorly written to an extreme. Therefore, when making this movie, there wasn't much for them to go on.

However, when taking what terrible material they had, I feel that the movie makers did what they could and made a somewhat decent movie, (despite splitting it into two movies that was beyond unnecessary), the main actors doing nice jobs with their, at certain times, laughable dialogue.
