Maybe it's the new director. Maybe it's the actors learning from Kristen Stewart how to act. Maybe it's the focus on relatable emotions instead of silly plot points. Maybe it's the hyper-intensity.
Maybe it's the solid horror movie execution. Maybe it's the badass ending and Clockwork Orange closing credits. Whatever it is, this is easily the best, most engrossing movie in the franchise.
