Review of The Twelve Chairs (1962) by Dan T — 28 Jan 2018
Good film. Mirrors the story that stays very true to Ilf and Petrov's novel "The Twelve Chairs". The only real difference is that it is set in Cuba and Ostap played by Reynaldo Miravalles sees the error of his ways instead of dying in the book.
It is interesting on how it compares to the Mel Brook's film by the same title. Recommended watching expectantly as a double feature with the Brook's film.
