Review of The TV Set (2007) by Hamad S — 02 Oct 2007
Duchovny and Weaver give an excellent performance in this dark comedy about the frustrations on 'selling-out' and having your ideas hijacked by ratings-seeking stupid media execs. Although there were smile-inducing moments and some cynical laughter, it felt quite empty overall.
One wonders whether the writers were ironically made to change scripts to avoid being too cynical?
