Review of The TV Set (2007) by Erik G — 20 Oct 2007
Pretty fun little media satire, even if it does play a bit too broad in places. But the story of the gradual degradation of a brilliant TV script into a mediocre series as a result of too many corporate cooks was told with more poignancy AND much more laughs in the second season of the series "Extras".
Still, a solid rental if you like smart comedies. And the scene with the mall survey taker was painful to watch, and made me SO SO glad I quit that job.
