Review of The TV Set (2007) by Kyle E — 06 Nov 2007
Unfairly dumped direct-to-DVD, Kasdan has made a good film here, extremely easy to watch and also funny, thanks largely to his great cast. With this, Trust The Man and, most importantly, Californication, Duchovny has cemented himself in a reamergence of his talents.
Weaver and Gruffudd are also great support, Gruffudd particularly shining in what could have been a biut of a boring role. Kasdan's intelligence shines through here, and combined with his work on Freaks And Geeks and Undeclared and I imagine Pinmeapple Express should enjoy a successful career.
