"The TV Set" is, surprisingly, a quirky, edgy comedy with a stellar cast to push it past the norm in films of this kind. David Duchovny gives a light weight performance, but Sigourney Weaver is pitch perfect as the bitchy, conniving television exec.
Judy Greer also gives a delicious performance as the peace maker of the group, a sly, funny character that benefits from her comic interpretation of the script ... overall, a very funny, maniacal comedy.
