Review of The Turning Point (1977) by Lotti K — 17 Feb 2008
This is another one of those that I love mainly because it made such an impression on me as a kid. My Iranian friend Salmeh from Catholic school and I would act out scenes from this over and over. But it's got some of my favorite things in it: ballet, NYC in the 70's, catfight between two fantastic actresses.
And it makes me cry at the end EVERY TIME.
