I am pretty disappointed with this movie. Nicolas Cage has been dying in every movie he's been doing lately, and this time he dragged Elijah Wood with him to also die. Why? Does he only choose scripts now where he dies? But that's not what was so disappointing. What was disappointing was how the movie ended. It was basically like saying "Well our 2 main characters are dead, so we really don't need to explain anything about what happened.".

What really pisses me off is that they made it look like Cage was possibly still alive, or faking it, in his death scene. So then later in the movie I was hoping he would appear at the end, even after Elijah Wood got killed I was like "Oh snap, it's Cage who sniped him!" But no. Whoever wrote the script has a very poor idea of what makes an audience feel "ok" about your movie after it's done. Instead of any type of continued story, explanation, or any feel good moment or ANYTHING -- instead of all of that, the final scenes are slow motion of cops putting the evidence in the evidence locker. No more story.
