This is a strange yet interesting movie about Mr. Truman Burbank, who is unknowingly, born into a live tv soap opera, that is controlled by an invisible TV film crew, who has cameras in ever nookie & cranny, watching his every move. All this, being done, in a controlled weather dome.
The cast of people who are paid to be his family & friends, are made to improvise with each individual move that Truman makes in his life.
Eventually, Truman ends up trying to find the girl he was romantically involved with, and try to live his life with out being hounded by coincidences that assumingly seem all too improvised and not normal.
As I said, It's a strange movie, but you really root for Mr. Burbank in the film when you realize how miserable he becomes and tries to break free from his seemingly fake and crappy life.
