One of the most original concepts brought to the screen. I don't usually like Carrey, but his performance is stellar in this film. Definitely more dramatic than satirical - and I would have liked to see more of a focus on the latter - but a decent balance of all the emotional elements make this a carefully styled and brilliantly executed film.
