Not just up there with one of the best films of the 1990s, but one of the best ever, full stop. Very rarely do films as clever as this arrive and this one fills every second with humour, drama, intrigue, and an absolutely heart-stopping finale that's stayed in my mind ever since.
A joyous 103 minutes of cinematic perfection, and Jim Carrey can rest easy in the knowledge that he's been part of at least one all-time masterpiece.
