Review of The Trouble with Harry (1955) by Mary D — 14 Oct 2007
This may be Hitchcock's only comedy, but the dark subtle humor has made it my all-time favorite of his films. As I watched it, I kept marveling it was made back in the 50's - the witty black humor seems out-of-place in that era.
Watching this it feels like it could have been made just 5 years ago instead of over 50. Ahead of its time, for sure, and often underrated. Hilarious and quirky. I love it.
