Review of The Trouble with Harry (1955) by Paul N — 25 Mar 2009
Light-hearted farce about corpse disposal. The repetitive nature of the narrative swiftly runs out of steam, and the characters are all too self-consciously peculiar to generate much interest, let alone empathy.
Finally derailed by its own contrivances as it lumbers to its conveniently happy ending. Mostly fairly easy on the eye, but features some of the worst day-for-night photography I have ever seen.
