Review of The Trouble with Harry (1955) by Mark S — 22 Oct 2007
So-so atypical Hitchcock, a comedy, not what you would expect from the master of suspense. Edmund Gwenn is charming as "the captain". The film is also noteworthy for Shirley MacLaine's debut.
The beautiful new england foliage and Bernard Herrmann's score give the film some pizazz. P.S.: Don't tell Harry...he's dead.
