Review of The Trouble with Harry (1955) by Brian S — 04 Apr 2008
Quirky, unusual comedy. frank, unnatural dialogue and contrived acting gave this otherwise easygoing movie an uncomfortable cheesy feel to it. the humour value was only worth a few chuckles at best. Hitch has a flare for incorporating black comedy into his films, but it's best paired with suspense thrillers and shouldn't stand alone.
overall a weak film, but it was still moderately enjoyable.
