Review of The Trotsky (2010) by Gary A — 21 Dec 2010
This is a much delayed review due to the fact that I still have one year left of school to complete before I graduate. Thanks to the fact that I've had so much homework to do for the longest time I can only write this review for so long before I have to get back to the copious amounts of homework that is still left to do. Man I can't wait for school to be done.... JUNE GET HERE FASTER! Anyways here's my review that's short, sweet and to the point:
Pros:
-It's Canadian.
-Jay Baruchel is the man.
-Emily Hampshire is hot.
-Colm Feore is in it.
-Saul Rubinek is in it.
-It's funny.
-It's clever and original.
-It has a great soundtrack.
-IT WAS MADE IN CANADA AND NOT THE U.S.
Cons:
The third act feels a little weaker than the first two acts that proceeded it.
-There needed to be more of a development in the transition of Alexandra not liking Leon to Alexandra falling in love with Leon.
-It ended.
It's well acted, has lots of good actors, the writing is great even though the last fourty minutes weren't as good as the first eighty. And it was made by and in the best country in the world.
'nuff said.
