I would venture to say, with zero historical information, that the life of this boy closely resembles the life of Leon Trotsky's. Just a guess. Very interesting story, great idea. Jay Baruchel is spot on.
The supporting cast is not quite the same class, but they do their part. Aside from some cheesy spots here and there, a pretty good movie.
