Review of The Triumph of Sherlock Holmes (1935) by Clyde S — 27 Sep 2010
Early Sherlock Holmes film featuring Arthur Wontner and Ian Fleming (No not that Ian Fleming)as Sherlock Holmes and his faithful comrade Dr.Watson. To me Arthur Wontner makes a great Holmes and so does Fleming as Dr.
Watson. The plot isn't bad but it heavily relies on flashbacks and doesn't focus a whole lot on Holmes and Watson. One of the better early Holmes films.
