Review of The Tripper (2006) by Chad O — 26 Nov 2007
Personally, I found this film to be entertaining. There is a lot of political humor, especially concerning Ronald Reagan's presidency. Jason Mewes is great, probably the best character in the story of course.
Once again, the movie explores what addiction can do to you and how it can really fuck up your ability to focus on what is real.
The film is a typical horror movie, nonetheless. Drugs (lots of them), sex (a few scenes), and Rock and Roll run this movie, and the music selection was rather nice. As far as David Arquette's directorial debut, it could have been better.
All in all, this was a fun film.
