Review of The Tripper (2006) by Katley M — 09 Dec 2008
The Tripper is what I would call a aquired taste. While it is out there with it's gross humor, drug use, and a serial killer based off of a Ronald Reagan wanna be, I still liked it. And I can safley say that I have never seen anything like it before, and any movie that I can come out saying "that was new" is ok in my book.
The gore was awsome, and the way that it was shot gave a legit Woodstock feel to the film. The acting lacked a bit but not to bad. It was also able to give you the horror film fixation but at the same time remain funny and out going.
But like I said it was a bit over the top but were would we be without over the top movies right? I give The Tripper 4 stars but beware not for anyone looking for a serious movie that will leave them gasping for more.
With this it might leave you laughing for more though. I would say worth a check, or at least a rental.
