Review of The Triplets of Belleville (2003) by Alistair M — 16 Jun 2008
Weeeeird and slightly disturbing. I found both of those adjectives to work toward this film's advantage and disadvantage. don't really understand why there was an option for english subtitles as there wasn't any dialogue to subtitle.
but even that made it quirky and different. I appreciated it for what it was. the colors, drawings, and the colors all held a lot of personality. that's always a good thing. I think if I wasn't so tired and expecting something different I may have enjoyed it more.
