Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon play themselves in this occasionally meandering, occasionally inspired comedy that finds Coogan as a guest food critic on a road trip to visit various restaurants, having to drag his neurotic friend along with him.
Self-reflexive and often melancholy, the film is a probing, if uneven exploration of loneliness through the eyes of two men adrift in stagnant careers.
