Review of The Trip (2011) by Tim F — 14 Oct 2012

There are more laughs per minute in this film that any studio comedy you'll see this year. The chemistry and ability Coogan and Brydon have for playing off of each other is remarkable. Winterbottom has collaborated with these two actors before and it is evident in the trust and free reign they have on camera.

Coogan's ability to show his insecurities by constantly berating Brydon's strengths as a comedic talent is where this film really gets to shine yet also shows there is a real friendship to be had underneath it all.
