Review of The Tree of Life (2011) by Tatsuhito K — 16 May 2014

Tedious and frustrating for some, but it's beautifully filmed, superbly acted (Brad Pitt gives the performance of his career), brilliantly directed, wonderfully composed and more importantly, thought-provoking.

I still haven't figured out what this movie really is about (it requires multiple viewings), but The Tree of Life is genius Terrence Malick's career defining work.
