Review of The Tree of Life (2011) by William H — 19 Sep 2012

There's the way of nature, and the way of grace... and then there's the way of Malick. The tree of life features Brad Pitt, Sean Penn, domestic violence, dinosaurs, waterfalls, and cosmic supernovas - all equating to two hours of mass confusion.

While poetic and beautifully shot in many ways, I don't know what to make of it. I respect people that love it and understand it, but I could not do neither. My head hurts.
