Review of The Tree of Life (2011) by Emer L — 26 Nov 2012
The critics both loved and hated this film for exactly these same reasons: "use of technical and artistic imagery, directorial style, & fragmented non-linear narrative". Terrence Malick, may be a misunderstood genius behind this film, but if you can compare this to Stanley Kubrick's "2001: A Space Odyssey" just for the basis of its (and ours) existence, then this film definitely deserves your attention! "The Tree of Life" on IMDB should be more than just 6.
