Visually, it's absolutely stunning and one has to admire the work that Terrance Malick put into creating a very specific look. But the film falls very flat -- where I expected to come out with some sense of great meaning by the end of a slow film, the ending just brought more confusion and disconnect and I was ultimately extremely disappointed.
