Review of The Tree of Life (2011) by Andy P — 28 May 2013
If you learn anything from watching this prototypical Terrence Malick film, it is that you do not watch a Terrence Malick film to be entertained- at all. Thus, we are forced to view the film from a philosophic/artistic perspective to which I am unsure whether or not Malick succeeds.
