Review of The Tree of Life (2011) by Nick C — 23 Feb 2015

Basically, Its about this family with three kids who's lives are all ruined by their dick, hard-ass of a father, I mean this guys a real asshole, he made one of these kids quietly close a door 50 times because he closed it a little loud once.

So, the whole movie you wait for something to happen and the story to start, but it never does. The whole film is just a bunch of random events that mostly consist of the same characters and setting that I dont even think are in chronological order, But some of these scenes have nothing to do with the main characters or setting, I would also say plot, but their is none.

One of the scenes is actually about dinosaurs, and the worst part is there isn't even story to the dinosaur scene. Another thing that makes the film hard to watch is the fact half the things the characters say are whispered under their breath so you have no clue what the hell this character just said.

Overall, this film is a collection of random scenes that are supposed to hold a deeper mean that I apparently can not see, at all, I think the makers of this film want people to 'Read between the lines', but the problem with that is that there are no damn lines to read between.

I fucking hated this film.
