Review of The Tree of Life (2011) by Jesse B — 26 Jun 2015
The Tree of Life is an amazing, transcendent film which asks the audience to go deep. Although Terrence Malick has since released other films, I view his 2011 masterpiece to be the culmination of every previous work.
Combining themes of love, hope, divine presence, and grace, The Tree of Life forces us to look not only at film in a new way, but also in the way we view life itself. This is definitely one of my all-time favorite movies.
