I don't know what to think about this film. I found myself confused when approaching Jack's childhood, because I couldn't tell if this was supposed to be normal or if I was supposed to think that something was wrong.

I don't like the dichotomy between nature and grace, either. The dinosaur part was stupid, but I really liked the beach scene where they all come together again.
