Review of The Tree of Life (2011) by Michael Z — 09 Jan 2014
Spiritually overwhelming and achingly beautiful, The Tree of Life is a challenging and ceaselessly fascinating film that places the squabbles of a family on one side of the scale and the prodigious chaos of the cosmos of the other. And, by the miraculous skill of director Malick, the yoke remains horizontal.
*4/4*.
