Unique and trully a beautiful movie. About 15 minutes at the beginning and closing is a masterpiece cinematic experience. Watched it twice at cinema and blu-ray. It become better and more enjoyable. The cinematography is one of the best I have ever seen.
Unfortunately they lost to 'Hugo' past two years ago at Academy Awards. The picture is very detail and colorful. 'The Tree of Life' actually is not a complicated drama but it is full of emotion.
More than 2 hours does not feel long. This one certainly Terrence Malik's best movie so far.
