Review of The Tree of Life (2011) by Alex W — 04 May 2013
In a movie, you can show anything you want on screen. The tree of life is a great example, when done right, of how a film can just be watching a series of images letting the feeling they evoke be your only experience, unlike the typical 3 act linear storytelling you usually see in movies. This film is completely unconventional and great. I found myself thinking about it and my own life for days after.
It's the way of nature and the way of grace.
