Review of The Tree (2010) by Jenni P — 08 Dec 2010
As I review this film, I'm seeing the poster for the first time and I have to say it's absolutely terrific and captures the movie's theme perfectly.
The story is quite typical and I've seen it a million times before. But it's still so very beautiful and human. The performances are amazing. This movie is worth it solely for Morgana Davies' performance. The photography is amazing and the setting surely helps that.
A warm story of how different personalities deal with loss and grief. What we do to lessen the pain, cope with it and move on. Heart-felt movie, but nothing special to remember it for.
