Review of The Tree (2010) by Stephen H — 03 Sep 2011
This film is a really beautiful gem, and should not be missed by any serious viewer of cinema who wants to avoid commercial soppy trite. Although the metaphor regarding the tree may be slightly obvious, the acting, cinematography, and script are wonderful.
The subject matter is delicately delivered. This film should be watched when you are relaxed and patient, because you may miss some of the nuances. I was most moved by this film, and thoroughly recommend it.
