Humphrey Bogart is better known for his tough-guy roles in film noir, but here he plays a rather devious character, a real scum-bag who shows his true colors when greed overcomes him. "Sierra Madre" is an American adventure that serves also as a morality tale.
It's exciting and fascinating to watch.
