Review of The Treasure of the Sierra Madre (1948) by Kyle V — 12 May 2008
Entertaining and important. This is actually my first Humphrey Bogart film i've ever watched, and my first John Huston film. It's got me interested and I can't wait to watch more works from John Huston.
Beautiful cinematography for it's time....entertaining storyline, a little bit self feeding the audience the storyline atg the time, but it's forgivable, seeing as how in 1948, American audiences didn't want to think deep while watching a movie.
