Review of The Treasure of the Sierra Madre (1948) by Brian T — 27 Jul 2008
This movie contains believable actions and suspenseful dialog in settings that limit the number of choices one has if one wants to survive and be successful in one's quest at the same time. What happens to the human conscience when that quest is to obtain as much gold as one can, especially given the fact that you and your companions were hitherto poor? A fascinating playing out of this question, with quotable lines to boot.
