Review of The Treasure of the Sierra Madre (1948) by Josh S — 10 Dec 2008
Great movie. Bogart is stunning as you'd expect, and he's complemented by a great supporting cast and John Huston's masterful direction. I loved the great tension throughout the movie, and how Bogey transforms from an alright guy to a paranoid, greedy monster.
This is included in all those stupid top 100 lists, but I guess some movies are put there for a reason.
