Review of The Treasure of the Sierra Madre (1948) by Jack W — 16 Jun 2009
Great story made even better by fantastic performances by Huston and Bogart. What really struck me is the extent to which the film was shot on location, which serves to explain J Huston winning the Director award that year.
My only wish is that Bogart could use a different voice/language sometime. Its the same over and over again. Maybe I shouldn't watch Bogie on back to back days.... :).
