Review of The Treasure of the Sierra Madre (1948) by Matt . — 17 Jun 2009
This film is probably the best example of how american cinema defines it approach to characterization. Rich vibrant dialogue coupled with the honestly of how vicious the american dream can be once it dies and its bloated rotten carcus allows for the vile, estranged natural modern human survival instincts, such as the necessity for greed and the ambition towards corruption; to endlessly feed off of its own decomposition.
