Review of The Treasure of the Sierra Madre (1948) by Dan H — 16 Jul 2009
Bahahahahaha.
One of the true classics. Walter Huston's the freakin best hahaha.
Bogey goes from a normal, honest man to a true sombitch, and he does it in an organic, believable way... It's simply a quality, quality film.
Acting's supreme, the shots are great, and it's not nearly as slow as some of the other early movies.
"Badges? We don't need no badges! We don't need to show you no stinkin' badges!".
